Sweet addictions...

My weeknights typically consist of clean kitchen, baths, teeth, cups, story, bed...

Here within the next week I will be so LUCKY to add GREY'S ANATOMY back into the swing of it! And I cannot wait for it to get here! Hurry up Thursday! That and BONES came back on tonight! That was a surpise to me! I was so excited to see it again.

And House returns next week too so it is going to be a nice quiet week of premiers! Too bad Shawn is currently away for training because he is normally my T.V. buddy! Although the peace and quiet of the night has been completely enjoyable. You know that feeling of such a hectic day and you slump down on the couch and you just melt?! That is my day everyday!

Picture

Shawn Jr started school a few weeks ago and daily it has been a sob fest when I get ready to leave.

It pulls and tugs at my heart. I want nothing more than to just scoop him up and bring him home and keep my "baby" boy home with mommy.

He carries a picture with him everyday. It's a wonderful picture of him and I. We went to Applebee's to celebrate a great friends birthday (how lucky is she to have been born on Halloween?). He holds it, he stares at it, he "hugs" it.

I sometimes sneak up to school a few minutes early and I can always tell how good of a day he has had just by whether or not he has his picture. One day last week he was sitting in his carpet square just holding it and rubbing it. When he was able to come to me he said "mommy I had a good day I didn't cry I just missed you".

His poor picture has taken a slight beating because other kids like to play with it too and he of course is like NO MINE! He's gonna be one of those big brothers who doesn't let his sister date! Lucky me :)

5 years and a lifetime to go...

September 7th was Shawn and mines 5th wedding anniversary! (Here's to all you people who said it wouldn't work. HA!)
Shawn and I enjoyed a nice quiet night home with our family. See something not alot of people know unless they really do the math is Shawn and I had a family before we legally became man and wife. James is our first born son who we were so blessed to have him attend our wedding and to be able to witness the love that mommy and daddy continue to share today!
We are so blessed to be beating the odds for this day and age! I love my husband so very much. Im so very roud of him for all that he does. He's the reason I never gave up hope on anything. And for that I can never love him or thank him enough. He encourages me when I try to start talking down on myself. (I have had an AWFUL time loosing weight since Abigail but he always reassures me that I look great :) ) He is a FANTASTIC father.
His family and my family are pretty much like any other family that I can think of so were pretty good on dealing with any and all of it! We fit together like PB&J! LOL! Oh it's late and im really tired but this is the only quiet time I get at this point in my life so im enjoying listening to him play Call of Duty and im blogging!

I AM the strength behind the strong...

How a Marine's girl was made...

One night a marine looked up into the heavens and made a plea to god.

"God, I'm so alone down here. All I do is fight and face the deamons of the Earth. Please send me someone."

So God called forth his angels and asked the to help create a special girl for the marine.

"Boss give her strength" cried Michael. "So that she can bear the weight and pressure of having to watch her marine pack up and go at a moments notice."

God was please and added strength.

"She must have patience" called forth Gabriel "So that she can have the understanding of the job that is required of her."

God was pleased and added patience.

Peter thought about it and said, "Let her be compassionate so that she can soothe away the nightmares and horrors that the marine will see."

God was pleased and added compassion.

Jesus went forth and said, "Dad, give her faith, faith that her man loves her and that no matter what it takes he will get home to her."

God was pleased and added faith.

All the saints and angels looked and said, "God she is perfect. She is beautiful and she is the one for the marine."

A small angel took a closer look and saw a tear falling down from the woman. He looked up and said "God she is crying, why are you making tears for her?"

God looked down and said "I didn't put that there, to love a Marine is to take on the hardest task in all the world."

Whew! *wipes brow*

It has been such a CRAZY week to say the least! These kiddos have been keeping me busy! And I love every minute of it.

Abigail has begun CRAWLING!! Really??? Seriously??? What happened to my BABY???? LOL!

She is such a stinkerbutt. She gets like 2 steps and she is done and has some SERIOUS seperation anxiety.. I pretty much get no breaks! Even if I try it is like meltdown mania! Never mind cooking or cleaning. I did kinda make her mad tonight. I made daddy put her to bed. She didn't really like that one too much.

Michelle has been having a blast at school. I swear she gets smarter and smarter every minute. I just love how much she has grown the last few weeks. I did notice tonight that her face is getting a little chunky.. Woohoo a growth spurt... Hmm bad at the same time I just bought her new clothes... Hmm...

Michelle did get her stitches out last week and I have never been so happy to see her beautiful scar looking so good. I say beautiful because without that scar and without that shunt there would be no beautiful Michelle! Haha if you ask her though she's not beautiful she is Michelle. I love when she says that.

Well I am off to bed. I am sooo super tired that wow! Mornings prove to be a little difficult!
